[H]ardNews 2nd Edition

The AOpen AK77 333 motherboard is the subject of this review by the people at OCModShop. With as many KT333 boards and the inevitable release of the next generation of Chipsets on the horizon, the decision of which board to buy is getting harder and harder. Should you wait? Should you make the leap now? Hard to say....

Look, I give the Mac guys a hard time, just because we are PC guys...and that's our job..."teasing" the Mac guys. But the truth be told, we are all brothers in computers. At heart, a computer geek is a computer geek, whether they are Linux, BeOS, Unix, OSX, Windows. So it kinda irked me to stumble across this article here. ( scroll down a bit )

The real operating system hiding under the newest version of the Macintosh operating system (MacOS X) is called... Darwin! That's right, new Macs are based on Darwinism! While they currently don't advertise this fact to consumers, it is well known among the computer elite, who are mostly Atheists and Pagans. Furthermore, the Darwin OS is released under an "Open Source" license, which is just another name for Communism

And just so you know...a bunch of people let me know these people run their site on a Linux box too. Chalk one up for hypocrisy.

And yes...we know that the Japanese now have the fastest computer in the world.

I got a letter from ABIT saying they are aware of this, and the current work around is very simple. Basically, it involves setting your USB Keyboard Control to OS instead of BIOS to avoid any problems with your Highpoint controller. ABIT also let us know that the setting is already set to OS by default so there shouldn't be any problems.

I just wanted to make you guys be aware (but you most likely know already) that there's a strange issue with the Abit GeForce 4 Ti4400 and their KG7-RAID motherboard. Basically, the video card causes the Highpoint 370 controller to be disabled. The workaround is to set "USB Keyboard control" from BIOS to OS. I just thought I'd drop you guys a note in case you hear mention of it. Keep up the good work!
